dua satu!

what a feat it was tonight. the national stadium was jam packed! people mountain people sea. it looks as though national day was brought forward. seriously, working outside the stadium trying to control the crowd is tough tonight as Singaporean's patriotic side is shown fully. i climbed the railings for awhile and all i could see was head. from the concrete stairs to the carpark. all heads! the last game to be played in such a historical monument, the last time we will ever see it standing strong, the last time we will be able to sit on the stands and watch football.

so we won yay! 2-1 to us as we march our way to thailand for the second leg. hopefully we can maintain the performance, hopefully noh alam shah can release the lion inside him on the match. but tonight game is not worth watching on tv, it's worth to feel the atmosphere in the stadium.

they cheered, they jeered, they shouted, they chanted, they sang, they swore, but most importantly; they ROARED! seeing the crowd moving so passionately to this game and the team makes me proud to be a Singaporean. i'm serious! this is also the first time when i saw 3 waves of kallang waves. woah!

okay, when i finally had the chance to go up and watch, i only saw the Lions on the pitch. kicking ball around. cool down exercise? nah.. i was told that we had a penalty, but the Thais disagree with the ref and walked out of the pitch as a sign of protest. like.. wtf?! 15mins out of the pitch? the ref should have given the match to Singapore! it's a unsporting behaviour to walked out for 15mins!! the whole Thai team should be punished for that. the whole stadium (excluding the Thai fans of course) were jeering. the anger and anguish on their face was.. i dunno wad to put in here. all of us were shouting "bapoks!", "gu niang", "balik kampong" and *horn rhythm* "BUETO!"

seriously it was fun shouting with the crowd. but this moment never last. as the crowd leaves and the floodlight is off, we shall wave goodbye to this national stadium....

DAMN! they should have had tore it down and rebuilt a better one earlier! LOL!
