every end is a new beginning.

2008 is coming to a close. It has been a roller coaster ride for me, and definitely a year that I may never ever forget.

2008 is a year when I lost someone special. Someone who is so close to me, so dear to me, who mean so much to me. Even though we knew that he may not make it past this year, we still do put in our faith for him to get better. I kept telling him that I want him to be there when I graduate, when I get married and so on. Now that he's gone, and cannot be physically there for us, but we all know there he is looking after us from a far away place, giving his blessing in whatever things that we do. May you be smiling at us forever Ah Gong.

2008 is a year when I am given a chance to lead. I appreciate and thank the trust and support I had from the seniors. Being the head of BA Society, getting to know and leading these bunch of kids who dont really know much at the beginning, seeing them grow to become leaders among themselves. I must say that I feel proud of them, even though I know how sometime I may be a bad example to them. The times we spent together having fun, laughing, pulling ourselves through difficult and tired times are all worth it. Hopefully we will get even better and produce a spectacular finale come April! =D

2008 is a year when I finally get to go beyond Malaysia! Yea your eyes is not playing trick on you, I had never stepped beyond M'sia (other than Hat Yai, the southern tip of Thailand) before. Don't call me a mountain tortoise. Alright so I went to Shanghai, China with my classmates and course mate. Really enjoy the short 5 days there. The weather there is so oh-my-feeling cool! But still, if you ask me to stay there for long, I will miss the sunny island of Singapore, especially the food! Woots!

2008 is a year when I got my first inked! I can still vividly remember the date; 23rdJan2008. Reason being 23rd is my favourite number. Haha, actually I had alway wanted to get a tattoo, and finally gathered my courage and rebellious self to do it. Never do regret it, and I still want more. No wonder they say tattoo are like drugs, they are addictive. Just that it is a little bit of a hindrance for your future and rather expensive. Oh well, I guess that my parents are still clueless about it, or do they? Hmmm..

2008 is a year when I get into virgin mishaps. LOL! Well to date, I got into my first bike accident (shall not elaborate on it), kena chicken pox on the eve of my birthday (most people only kena it once!).

2008 is a year when I seems to get so busy at times with all the projects and stuffs that I can forgo my sleep and times when I seems so carefree that I can just sit around and do nothing. Lol.

On a random note, 2008 is when The Little Nyonya brought joy, tears and many more to the audience of Singapore television production. I finished watching the whole show, and truly it will be a classic.

Oh well, so much for 2008. A new year is about to begin in less than a day! Hopefully with the new year, we can progress better with all the good blessings around. 2009 is going to be a fun year ahead with graduation, National Service, bAoc'2009 and so on... so till the next year;
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERONE! =D

Last but not least, wish Hui'er will have a splendid birthday in China. Enjoy!

xmas and meet up.

Tis the season to be jolly, and the season of giving, and the season of love! =)

So people, how did you spend your Christmas? Did you enjoy it?

I certainly do, meeting up with the lovely people. Haha, fellow dec5th was like suggesting a xmas meetup with the some of the rest. So we attended her service at CHC on a lovely xmas morning. I heard so much about CHC, so it wasnt a surprise to me that the whole hall was packed with followers being that "enthusiatic" with the prayers. I mean this is a personal belief and faith that you have with him. I shan't comment much here. =/

So after that we walked ard Expo, before heading down to Changi airport to have lunch, or rather, brunch! Yeap, had Fish&co there, and filling our stomach with not just food, but jokes, laughter and joys. Updating each other up through lunch and coffe and Coffee Club before we left. Then the feeling5 went for our feeling talk at Esplanade. It was nice and cosy to be with the familiar company, and I like it just the way. =)

So, Boxing day and Sat was spend working and doing some of my project.

Sunday! Family day for most, while the society people went to the zoo! It was really packed, real hard to take pic with the animals.
Overnight celebrity.... White Tiger!
Overnight celebrity 2: Shun AH!
Lol seriously sabotage him. The zookeeper was asking for a volunteer. Then we just pointed at him and shouted, "BIRTHDAY BOY!". Actually it wasnt his birthday but who cares? In the name of fun! HAHA!

After that had dinner at Causeway Point Swensen, before a "surprise" belated birthday celebration for me. Haha I uncovered the plot! Spotting Siu Cing peeping, and we missed the pasar malam even though it was so BIG and bright. =x Haha but thanks anw! Love it! =D
We are family!
Old president & new president. LOL!
Yea my new friends found. Mat rock!
Haha they were so spontaneous to sing me a birthday song together when we were celebrating. Especially the girl in white who was so sweet came over to shook my hand. Scandalous! =x So we treated them some cake. So we just sat around Civic Ceenter to lepak-lepak awhile before embarking on the journey home!
Home sweet home!

A happy entry! =D

Merry X'mas

These few days I have been thinking alot. Thinking about what are the next steps that I should take for particular cases, this and that. I feel like a chess player, just that I don't play chess at all. Oh, I also went out for soccer matches, movies, shopping too. Suddenly I feel that my life is back! Haha, what crap.

Anyway, this is the festive season so I shall not dwell so much. Happy holidays and merry x'mas to all! =D

mixed.

I think being quarantined for long certainly set my hunger to go out. Now I am more gian to step outside of my house, for whatever reason. Has been going out everyday since Nya allowed me to. Well today went town to meet some of the society people to celebrate yimin's belated and james' advanced birthday. Just a simple lunch and some of us remaining people went to catch a movie.

OMG PEOPLE PLS SAVE YOUR $$ AND DO NOT WATCH "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL". This film is totally boring, other than some special effects here and there. There isn't a story plot in this movie at all, except if you really really observe closely it is sending a message telling us to do good. Other than that, this movie is nothing special.

Well I don't know why I am feeling so vexed now, even at almost 5am in the morning after trying to pacify myself with Little Nyonya. Guess something can really affect your mood. Been feeling so irritated by this issue for a whole night. Don't know if I should blog this but I just can't contain it inside me. Grrrr...

Being a leader of yours I do hope that you will be successful. And through your records I can see that you are capable of doing so. You had progressed a little through times, but somehow I think you can do more. Sad to say, your actions sometime to disappoint me. Sometime I get angry and dwell over myself, wondering how I can help you. But if you don't help yourself and still go on your way, there is nothing much that I can do. True, I do alway support all of you with whatever you do, for my principle in life is "You only live once, just do it!". However we do have constraints and rules to follow, and we should also know the limits that we can go. It's just a thin hairline that seperate between right and wrong. I am not here to control you for I am neither your brain not your heart. But I do hope that you have more self-discipline to prove yourself.

I don't know if the intended person will get to read this, but this is all that I can say. Alright after saying so much I guess I can at least sleep a little more soundly. Later on got to help out in an event, so goodnight everyone.

awwwww.......

Oh my gosh. I am really seriously touched by what the society had done for me. Yes this post is specially going out to them who made such a wonderful and heart-warming video for me. And I actually believed it to be really just a MSA video. I really did not expect it to be a birthday video for me. Haha, now I know why you all wanted to pass the CD to me on my birthday! Unfortunately I had chicken pox, so I can only watch the video now. Ahhhh! I'm really speechless.

Many special thanks to the Society, the subcomms for bAoc'08, last year society members.. It's wonderful. Till now I still lost for words... =)

Love actually.

Love actually. A great film I must say, for this festive season. To show the world how to give and share, and how to spread the love. Although this film is quite old (produced in 2003) and that it has actually quite a few runs on local channel, I haven't caught it until just now, thanks to chicken pox which I have to quarantine myself. Reminded myself that I should watch, since Priscilla had introduce me this movie for ages. It's a really wonderful movie..

Love actually is all around.

Then my head start to play to the tune of "Love is all around". Nope not the Wet Wet Wet version but another one, I forgot by who. Lol. Anyway, bring back the hilarious online conversation I had the previous night. The Boy band and the Girl. I had it all saved, but just to keep the identity of the person a secret. She's part of the group, just that she's afraid to be outcast by the fellow band members with the content of the conversation. LMAO! What a comedy it would be. Hopefully they can make my wish come true. =)

Alright and another happy issue; my nya nya said that I can go out alr! Woohoo! Freedom at last!

rest.

Well these few days have been lying at home recuperating from chicken pox. Like what Ming Jie said, I shall take these few weeks as a break from my ever hectic schedule. Haha looking back what he said may be true, I indeed have a very hectic schedule, from my beloved society to class commitments and others. Hah, well-deserved break I guess..

Let see, well I have been doing work from home. Yes all the reports, drafts, projects, documents... you name it I have it. Yea trying to settle things here and there through telecommunication. Hah. Then there is all the catching up with friends and transition into Facebook. Updating each other etc...

Well sorta tidied up my room, especially my study table. It was quite a sore in the eye with all the notes and papers lying here and there. And I think I'm addicted to the Ch8 9pm drama "小娘惹". Yea local drama I know but hey, it's quite interesting to me, after not chasing any real drama for quite a number of years other than "黄金路". Haha Jeanette Aw is really... awwww... sweet looking. LOL!

Alright then, holidays are finally coming for the rest you people. Haha!

a very special present

This year I got a very special birthday present. When I thought that having my only CT paper on my birthday is bad, I got something even worse. Chicken pox! -.-" So i have to self-quarantine myself to prevent it from spreading to my family. So lifeless.

What a great way to end your teenage life and walk into the 2x age life. 19th birthday got drunk , 20th birthday kena chicken pox. What will happen to my 21st, and many more years to come?
