six five

HEAR THE LION ROAR! RAWRRR!
i think that our fans are better than the S.H.E fans next door =x

I was right at the national stadium witnessing Lionel Lewis making a fine save on the last penalty of the match. I was right in the midst of celebration with the Singapore crowd on the win against our nation's arch rival since God knows when? I was just beside the M'sian crowd.

So the scoreboard read 6-5 to our Lions. seriously I feel that soccer is such a beautiful game that it brings people, regardless of their age, gender, race and religion together. When was the last time you would see a sold-out crowd at the national stadium other than 9th of August? Yesterday was a busy day for us at the ticketing counter but it was all worthwhile. Bringing S'pore die hard fans together to cheer on our team, bringing the victory to us.

They waved along to the famous Kallang Wave. They shouted to the top of their lungs. They cheered non-stop to the rhythm of the drum beats. The Lion's fan finally roared! but i still find M'sian fans better. At least their cheers were clearer and louder.

I almost witness a fight between S'pore and M'sian fans when the equaliser was scored. A bottle just flew "pheeeeeeeeew" from my left, the S'pore side to the middle of the M'sian fan to my right upon celebration. Then the whole sea of yellow stood up, staring and shouting back at S'pore fans, trying to push their way through the security officers. Okay, disgrace to S'pore for this ugly action.

Well, tonight will decide who we shall meet in the final. Be it the Thais or Vietnam, I still hope that Singapore can win the cup. Hopefully if we meet Thailand, we can resolve our political difference through soccer. =D
